Helmsley Walled Garden is fortunate to be based in the uniquely historic and beautiful medieval town which sits between Helmsley castle, Duncombe Park and the edge of the North York Moors.  As if that were not spectacular enough, the old Victorian walled kitchen gardens which formerly provided for the Estate are now being restored under charitable status and have to be one of the most delightful walled gardens in the country. 

They have a superb café, spectacularly restored Victorian glass houses and sell their own garden produce throughout the seasons.  We find the garden a perfect antidote to the stresses of the business and as we walk beneath the old ruined castle walls it is a timely reminder of the transient nature of business, yet the lasting value of a beautiful afternoon spent in a lovely garden.
